We are excited to announce that Viejo Elementary is starting its very own mariachi program!
The Mariachi Vaqueros program is open to students in 3rd–5th grade. Interested students and their parents or guardians are invited to attend this informational meeting.
Parents of younger students are also welcome to attend to learn more about the program for when their child reaches 3rd grade.
If you are unable to attend but are still interested, please let us know so we can share the information with you.

Already fingerprinted through CUSD?
You do not need to be fingerprinted again! However, all current Tier 1 volunteers must register through ASCIP & complete Mandated Reporter Training every school year.
Deadline for the 2026–27 school year: September 30, 2026.
*Tier 1 volunteers who do not complete the course by September 30 will have their Tier 1 status suspended until the training requirement is completed.
